Still Continuing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Day 24 – December 17, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today didn\u2019t announce itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No sharp edge. No revelation. No emotional weather event rolling through to give the day a shape. It was just there. Waiting to be lived. Which sounds simple until you realize how strange that feels after everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think there\u2019s a point in this process where the question stops being \u201ccan I survive this?\u201d and quietly becomes \u201ccan I keep living inside it?\u201d Not escaping it. Not fixing it. Just continuing while it\u2019s unfinished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s where I am today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three weeks out. Wintering. Still listening. Still learning how to exist without bracing for impact every five minutes. I noticed how often my body checks for danger out of habit, not panic, just muscle memory. Like it\u2019s flipping a light switch in rooms I\u2019m no longer standing in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I let it do that today without judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn\u2019t try to rush myself forward or demand clarity. I didn\u2019t insist on progress just to prove I\u2019m \u201cdoing okay.\u201d I let the day be a continuation instead of a performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s something quietly disorienting about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m used to intensity. To urgency. To the feeling that everything matters right now. But today asked something different of me: patience. The kind that doesn\u2019t feel noble or inspiring, just necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought about how becoming isn\u2019t a straight line. It\u2019s a series of small decisions made while you\u2019re still unsure. It\u2019s choosing to keep your life moving at human speed instead of trauma speed. It\u2019s trusting that something is happening even when you can\u2019t see it yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t feel healed today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t feel broken either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And maybe that\u2019s enough for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe this part isn\u2019t about blooming or rebuilding or understanding. Maybe it\u2019s about staying present while the foundation settles. Letting the quiet do its work. Allowing time to pass without interrogating it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So today, I continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I showed up. I rested when I needed to. I thought without spiraling. I let the unanswered questions stay unanswered. I didn\u2019t disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That might not look like much from the outside. But from where I\u2019m standing, it feels like practice. Like learning how to live in a life that\u2019s still rearranging itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaos in one hand. Grace in the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And me still here, still continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
