The Day the Fear Lost Its Grip<\/strong><\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Day 14 – December 7, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today was different in a way I can\u2019t neatly explain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I woke up with the same fear and dread that\u2019s been living under my skin for a year. That familiar, heavy, predictable creature. But it didn\u2019t knock me down this time. It didn\u2019t send me back under the blanket with Roger curled into my stomach like a furry shield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It didn\u2019t make me cry. Mind-blowing, truly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fear was there. But for the first time, it didn\u2019t get a reaction out of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It sat in the corner. I noticed it and then I went on with my day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were no theatrics. Not from the fear, and not from me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What surprised me more was the spark inside me. The one I\u2019ve been feeling for weeks now. That flicker, that pulse, that tiny rebellious flame that keeps showing up uninvited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today it felt stronger. Steadier. Almost rhythmic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like it\u2019s no longer a spark but part of my internal wiring now. Like my system updated overnight and installed a new operating mode called Do Not Bow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And maybe it\u2019s fueling the quiet fury that\u2019s been building in me. A fury not directed outward, not messy or destructive, but inward and foundational, like my entire being is rising in slow motion and fear can only watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I refused to linger on that feeling too long. Too easy to fall into spiral town if I stare directly at it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not today. Not this version of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, I worked on the Wild Poise website all day. And night. Not because it needed anything. It was finished on Friday. It went live. My journal, my voice, my entire becoming, all of it out in the open, breathing in public for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s terrifying. And somehow, today, that terror didn\u2019t matter either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being myself fully, unapologetically, messily, brightly didn\u2019t send my nervous system into exile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It didn\u2019t shrink me. It didn\u2019t choke me. It didn\u2019t even make me pause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent hours making microscopic design changes no one but me will ever notice. Colors, spacing, and fonts. I rearranged them all until the rainbow itself would\u2019ve quit out of sheer exhaustion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in the end, I kept Wild Poise simple, calm, inviting, and raw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uncomfortably real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because that\u2019s what I am becoming. And that\u2019s where the real things happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fear should be scared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not because I\u2019m fearless. I\u2019m absolutely not. The fear is still here. It\u2019s still heavy. It still knows my name and address and schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But today, it had no mouth. No command. No pull. No power to shape the way I moved through my day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I moved anyway. I moved forward, steady and unapologetic. Driven by something older and deeper and fiercer than fear will ever be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today was a day. Not victorious. Not emotional. Not dramatic. Just quiet. Focused. Strangely energized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And under all of that, a simmering certainty I haven\u2019t felt before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am becoming someone fear should be very careful with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaos in one hand. Grace in the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
