Notes From a Girl Who Changes Her Mind Weekly<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

(especially during the holidays, when my personality runs on vibes, caffeine, and mild emotional turbulence)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I change my mind weekly. Honestly? Lately it feels like hourly. The holiday season does something to the brain. Like someone plugged my internal compass into twinkle lights and now everything short-circuits at the faint smell of cinnamon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One minute I\u2019m determined to have a calm, organized December. The next minute I\u2019m in the corner of Target clutching a throw blanket I absolutely do not need, but suddenly feel spiritually connected to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ll swear I\u2019m hosting a small, peaceful gathering. Then immediately spiral because I forgot humans require chairs, and now I\u2019m googling \u201chow to seat nine people when your apartment holds four.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The holidays amplify everything.
Every intention.
Every mood swing.
Every fleeting thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suddenly I\u2019m rearranging my living room because the tree \u201cwants to be in a different spot.\u201d Suddenly carbs feel like a personality type. Suddenly I care deeply about wrapping paper aesthetics like I\u2019m in competition with Martha Stewart\u2019s ghost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And here\u2019s the thing… None of this feels out of character. It feels honest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because changing your mind isn\u2019t chaos, it\u2019s clarity arriving mid-stride. It\u2019s realizing yesterday\u2019s plan doesn\u2019t fit today\u2019s energy. It\u2019s adjusting your life in real time instead of performing consistency for imaginary critics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone does this silently. Some of us like to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The truth is, we\u2019re all wading through December with twenty tabs open in our brains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI should bake.\u201d \u201cI should rest.\u201d
\u201cOh I should text that person back.\u201d
\u201cOh I should disappear for 48 hours and contemplate my life choices.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re all switching lanes faster than our emotional blinker can keep up. We\u2019re all changing our minds because the season keeps changing the atmosphere, outside and inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My shifting isn\u2019t instability. It\u2019s survival. It\u2019s listening. It\u2019s noticing when something stops feeling right and giving myself permission to pivot without turning it into a three-act play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I want coffee at 4 PM and solitude at 4:07, that\u2019s not indecision. That\u2019s self-awareness wearing a cozy sweater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So yes, I change my mind weekly.
I rearrange my plans like furniture.
I rewrite my mood like a draft.
And sometimes the only reason is that it just didn\u2019t feel right anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If that makes me unpredictable, fine. But at least I\u2019m honest, present, awake in my own life \u2014 even when my life feels like a snow globe someone keeps shaking. This season is allowed to shift you. You\u2019re allowed to shift with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if you change your mind again tomorrow?
Congratulations.
